Lodges for Sale: What You’ll Find & How We Help You Choose

Welcome to our Lodges section — if you’re here, you’re likely considering something a bit more premium than a static caravan. Lodges offer space, comfort, style, and a greater sense of permanence. Whether you’re dreaming of relaxing by large windows, entertaining friends, or staying for the longer term—even through colder months—lodges are built to deliver.

What Our Reviews Cover

When you click through a lodge review, you’ll typically find:

  • Interior walkthroughs: layout, bedrooms, bathrooms, living-spaces. We point out things like how open-plan it feels, natural light, ceiling heights, which all affect comfort.

  • Kitchen & finishing details: quality of fixtures, appliances, storage, luxury touches vs more basic features. Are the fittings modern or more traditional / cottage-style? Is there good space for everyday use?

  • Exterior & outdoor features: looks, cladding or finish, deck options, veranda, windows/doors (French doors, patio), how easily you can access outdoor space.

  • Space & storage: how many bedrooms, size of living areas, wardrobes & storage cupboards. Whether there is enough room for everything you’d like to bring.

  • Pros & cons: we highlight what we love and what to watch out for. For example, maybe the living room is beautiful but storage in the bedrooms is limited, or a lovely view but the lodge is on a sloped pitch.

  • Who the lodge suits best: families, couples, entertaining, long stays vs short breaks; those wanting ultra modern design vs cosier, cottage feel; people who want all-year usage vs seasonal use.

What to Look Out For When Browsing Lodges For Sale

  • Space vs cost trade-off: Bigger isn’t always better if the pitch cost, heating or maintenance wipe out the benefits. Think carefully about how much space you will really use.

  • Storage: Lodges are more spacious, but sometimes storage inside may be sacrificed for style. Think wardrobes, cupboards, outdoor storage, what you’ll want to bring.

  • Style preferences: Your taste matters. Ultra modern designs may look sleek and fresh, but some prefer warmer woods, softer finishes and traditional touches. Visualise what you’ll enjoy coming back to.

  • All-year usability: If you want to use your lodge off-season, check insulation, glazing, heating, etc. If those are weak, winter or early-spring stays may be uncomfortable or costly.

  • Suitability of the park & location: Access, distance from home, views, amenities: does the park cater to lodge-owners, what are the park rules, what are site fees, and how close are things you want?
